=== The Undocumented ===

According to the Dept. of Homeland Security, we have the same number of undocumented immigrants in the US today, as there was in 2005. We had not added a single one in the past 11 years.

The few that come in are matched by the number that leave on their own. (See dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/statistics/publications/ois_ill_pe_2010.pdf) The story that the hate-mongers tell us about millions streaming across the border is a fairy tale.

These people came to the U.S. 10 to 30 years ago. During that time, they purchased homes, started businesses, had children and grandchildren. They did the same things that all immigrants to this country have ever done. They built a life for themselves.

These people are un-documented. It means that they belong to NO country. When Trump starts arresting them, he can’t deport them. Our prisons can’t hold them. He would need to put them in internment camps.  What will be their fate, that of their children, their homes and businesses.

We have statutes of limitations for rape, assault, kidnapping and everything but murder. Trump will give no leniency for the worst of all possible crimes – wanting to have a better life for themselves and their families.
